I am Paulo “JCranky” Siqueira. I am a software Developer, mainly focused in Java and Scala. I’m based in Brazil, so here is where I do most of my work – which doesn’t mean everything. Starting in February 2012, I’m a full time software development consultant, so please get in touch if interested 
My main experience is really with Java and, from a few years to now, Scala – with is the language I like the most. I’m one of the founders of the Scaladores group – a Scala user group for in person meetings in São Paulo.
Despite that, I still do Java work, and a bit of python for a change.

Clients
I’m a instructor at Globalcode, teaching programming courses in general (mainly Java-related). I’m also the creator of the Scala, Play 2.0 and Akka 2.0 modules in the Architect Academy course they offer.
I do Java and Scala development for DOit SA, mainly in the invoice system called EasyNFe. Which by the way runs on Amazon AWS.
I do Python development for RuleMotion in a system that processes lots of messages on Google App Engine.
Besides that, I’m always close to open source projects. Currently I keep an eye at a lot of scala-related ones. You can find some contributions I made and some of my own public repositories at my github page.
